The 22nd annual Banking Tech Awards, held by FinTech Futures (a global digital publishing platform for the fintech community), took place on November 24th in London. The Banking Tech Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the use of IT in financial services. This year, we were honored to receive two awards.
For our efforts to build a community around Legend (our open source data modeling platform which aims to standardize industry terminology and enable safe and efficient data exchanges between industry parties), Goldman Sachs and FINOS (Fintech Open Source Foundation) were honored with the Best Fintech Partnership Award. We are thrilled to have received this award and are excited about continuing to grow the Legend community. For our 100% cloud-based transaction banking platform, Transaction Banking (TxB), we received the Best Use of Cloud Award. Built from the ground up, TxB was designed around a single payment and deposit platform that interacts with a single data platform, thus giving us the ability to provide clients with real-time data. In addition, this cloud-based approach enables our engineers to design horizontally scalable and highly resilient applications, allowing us to deliver an ideal >99% uptime(1).
After creating our own platform, we believe that our clients should also have the tools necessary to make their individual platforms as functional and versatile as possible. To that end, the TxB team has created numerous innovative products that serve as the glue between our clients’ banking platforms and their own clients and customers. Our built from scratch APIs allow our banking interface and our clients’ banking platforms to effectively talk with each other and make the entire transaction banking process seamless to the end user.
We are proud of this recognition and what it represents for our developers, product managers, and business teams. We look forward to continuing and expanding on these efforts in 2022.
